Through the Year of High School
Through The Year of High School
Almost everyone says, “That the four years of high school, are the best years of your life. Don’t waste that four year because the years fly by.” Well I still have no clue what those people are talking about because those four years were the worst years of my life. Unlike loving life during the four years, I could not wait to get them over with. During these times I also realized who I truly am, and what I have is now a gift. Not a problem that I will have for the rest of my life.
While I was in high school I found the wrong kind of crowd, and got into the wrong kind of habits. When I talk about the wrong kind of habits, I mean drugs, alcohol, parties, skipping classes, and lying. I went to Francis Howell High School, the original, that school is known for the drugs. I was always very depressed all throughout elementary school all though high school. Though I did not know what depression was till I got into my freshman year of high school. I meet someone in middle school, who made me feel like I could really live my life and someone who “cared” about me. This person got me in with the wrong people and habits. I finally tried to get away from this person. I still final got away after a restraining order was put on the person.
I was in and out of St. John’s Mercy Medical Mental Hospital for my freshman year of high school. I later found out that I had bi-polar disorder, also called manic-depression disorder. This disorder is a chemical imbalance in a person’s brain. This caused me tons of problems because the whole time that was in and out of the hospital. The kids at my high school were making up rumors that I had killed myself, and that I tried to kill someone in high school; then got shipped off to jail.
