To Kill a Mockingbird: a Civil Approach
I am most disappointed that I have not been accepted to your school. The competitive job market, coupled with the reputation that TCNJ has for academic excellence, helped make it quite clear that TCNJ was the right choice for me. I will get my degree, but still hope that I will be granted the opportunity to work for it at TCNJ.
I understand the workload that attending TCNJ would entail and I accept the challenge. I will strive for success- I will not fail. I want to be challenged in life; I feel it is the only way to improve. A degree from TCNJ will show employers that I am capable of handling a large workload and succeeding.
In addition to education, athletics is important to me. The physical fitness and discipline it provides are just two of its many benefits. After meeting with Coach Glus I am impressed with him and the baseball program he leads. The coach seems to be quite a people oriented person- a real caring individual. His stress of academics and discipline would be a real asset to me. To attend TCNJ and participate in the baseball program in any way would be a privilege.
