Torture
If you were put in a situation where it was difficult for you to cope with something, how would you handle it? What if it was a person who put you in this position? For example: someone close to you was killed in a car crash by a drunk driver. What is the justifiable way to make the person pay? The way it’s handled in the court system is a long process. It could take a long time for things to actually follow through before that person is sentenced. How come we don’t use torture as a method of punishment? It’s a painful and uncomfortable way to make someone feel. It’s not human nature to say you killed this innocent person, now you are going to suffer physically for it. What good will come of this? It doesn’t make problems go away.
Torture doesn’t only happen to human beings. Though some act like torture doesn’t exist, it does. People go about every day life. We try not to see that animals are tortured everyday. Abused, neglected, and slaughtered. I am a vegetarian so you could say I am against the cruelty of animals. It amazes me how we can hurt these beautiful creatures. Yea, most of our meat doesn’t come from every animal, but it’s still living on this planet. It’s funny because we are supposed to take the opposing side of what we feel torture is about in this essay. No torture for animals. I look at them differently. They can hurt us. But seem to only attack if they are feeling threatened. I should be saying it’s alright to hurt animals. Like I said, I’m supposed to take the opposite point of view. I can’t do that with animals.
There is another form of torture to
