The company constantly works at being in front and being able to offer healthy and clean foods and body care products. Urtekram A/S was founded in 1972 and has its head office in the beautiful nature close to the inlet Mariager Fjord in the north of Denmark. The company has approx. 100 employees and experiences significant growth on the home market and the Nordic markets as well as on several European export markets.
The Urtekram brand covers an extensive product assortment within organic dry groceries. The key areas are basic foods, breakfast and snack products as well as body care products. Furthermore, the Nutana brand also belongs to Urtekram A/S, and is used to market a wide vegetable assortment, which includes frozen foods and dry groceries. Nutana's key areas are frozen convenience products, such as vegetarian burgers and falafels as well as muesli and pâtés. It is characteristic for Urtekram as well as Nutana that they have a unique locally based production and the majority of the products are produced in the companies in Denmark.
