What Was I Thinking?

What Was I Thinking?

It was a new semester and a new me. I was dressed to impress anyone and everyone. It worked better than I had originally thought it would. When I walked in to second block, heath class, I looked around for at least one familiar face. I found one, Ashton, but she was sitting next to a guy I had never seen before. He was really cute I thought to myself. As Ashton and I walked down the hall for a bathroom break the guy came running up behind us. He introduced himself as Chad, and I could tell right then and there that he was at least somewhat interested in me. As days turned into weeks he and I realized that he liked me. A few weeks after we met he asked me out and I said yes.

The first few months were great! He would always come see me during break, between classes, and of course we always saw each other during second block. After a couple weeks we went through the typical "meet the parents" ordeal. My parents liked him, but they just saw something in him that they did not exactly understand. I loved his parents, they just made me feel like family right away and I had never had anyone treat me like that. As weeks turned in to months I started to realize that I was falling for him, as much as a fifteen year old girl can fall for someone.

After a few months we started to stay on the phone for hours, go over to each other's house, and do all the things just to spend just a little more time together. During spring break I got the chance to go see one of his "races", he was and still is a cyclist. That morning while I was getting ready I heard my phone ring, it was him. "Let's do it this afternoon while we wait for my dad to get ready to take us," he said. In my mind I was thinking that I was not ready but my mouth said, "Okay." When I got to his house we went up to his room and I guess you can imagine what happened next. After wards I kept thinking that I had just completely messed up.
