I don't really have any problems with gays but as long as I don't get hit on I'm fine with it. Gays now a days are getting more and more excepted by the majority of people, its just something that has been around for awhile now so I guess most of us are just use to it. I'm guessing that in the early 90's and even in the 80's, being gay was a problem because during that time aids was on a rise and so many people were getting this devastating disease. In the story, the lawyer was showing signs of the disease and one of his co-workers notice some symptoms of the disease and was forced to tell his bosses that he was gay by doing that he was force to quit his job. I do know a girl that had a form of HIV; well it was just a vaginal bacterial infection. She was so afraid and embarrasses by it that she didn't even tell anybody else but me and made me swear that I would never mention this to anyone ever. I think this is how some who are gay would feel, because they could feel that they could be cast out of society for whom and what they are. There has always confusion on Metro's and Gay's, I can't really tell the difference but just their appearance, but that would be one of my question that I would have asked.
