Autobiography
My name is Brandon Ahmad Webb and I am eighteen years old. I was on September 6, 1997. I am the youngest son of Charles and Regina Webb of Detroit, Michigan. My older brother Jeffrey is 33 and lives in Chicago, Illinois. My father (Charles) is a retired Fire Chief of the city ofDetroit. My mother (Regina) is currently serving as church secretary of Grace CME where we attend under the pastoral leadership of Reverend Dr. Barbara L. Delaney.I was baptized as an infant at Grace by my uncle Reverend Drexel Mitchell, Sr. who pastors in the Seventh Episcopal District and I accepted Christ in my life when at age ten under the pastoral leadership of Reverend Roland Brown.
I’m very active in my local church serving on the Youth Usher Board, Christian Youth Fellowship and participating in church service by reading the scripture or responsive reading. My goals and objectives over the next four years and throughout my lifetime is to graduate from Wilberforce University on the Dean’s list and pledge for a fraternity with Academic honors and a scholarship to a master program that I choose. Throughout my lifetime I would like to become an Executive marketer for a company with also dealing with Real Estate on the side and to be married to a smart, strong, sophisticated woman who in the future will have my three beautiful kids.
At an early age, I started in the scouts as a Cub Scout. I was introduced to scouting by the late Dr. Albert Ward who served as the Scouting Director for the CME Church. Dr. Ward provided me with his scouting handbook, silver coin and had a long conversation with me about the advantages of beingin the Boy Scoutand what it means to be a scout. Because of that conversation, I was interested and wanted to become a boy scout. Also at a young I played in many sports such as football, track, baseball, basketball. During the past years, I have participated in several sports, but recently I have discovered that my true love of sports is Baseball. I have joined many activities as well such as boy scouts (which was mentioned before earlier), Math academic games, singing in “Youth Sing Detroit Choir”, and Kempo Karate. I have currently been accepted into the “Top Teens of America” and looking forward to in participating in this organization that participates in community service work which I enjoy. I have participated in the community programs such as Gleaners, Forgotten Harvest, Breast Cancer Walk-a-Thon and served as an Usher forNAACP Dinner.
