Although scientific literature demonstrates that group decision making is generally better than individual decision making, individuals must make inspiring decisions to help the group succeed. Commonly groups delegate their tasks amongst the group members. In doing this, these individuals are allowed the opportunity to analyze the details of their particular segment of the propaganda in order to assist the group in making the best possible decision. Afterwards, each individual will bring their results to the group. Then, the group, as a whole, will combine all of the individual results to acquire a final decision.

When groups delegate tasks to individual group members it allows the group, as a whole, to focus on the details of their propaganda. With each member focusing on the details of different aspects of the propaganda, it is more likely the decision as a whole will be the correct decision. The twelfth chapter of 1 Corinthians tells of how the church is one body with many parts. 1 Corinthians 12:14 Paul wrote to the Corinthian Church, “Yes, the body has many different parts, not just one part” (NLT). In saying this, he is telling the church that it is run not just by one person but by many. Everyone in the church has their own role in making the church (the group) perform each and every task. In this aspect, when a group has a decision to make, each and every group member plays a role in making that decision.

As the individuals are given their own part of the propaganda to analyze, they can break this detail into even finer elements to help the group make a wiser decision. The book of Esther demonstrates how one person can help the group by doing their part. Esther risked her life by coming before the king and convincing him to support the Jews who were on the verge of being killed. By her patriotism, she won her nation a great deliverance.
