The upper management along with the managers of the different departments sets the goals. The subordinates are encouraged to participate in decision making in periodic meetings. The employees at Prime Commercial were reluctant to change their routine procedure. In times of crisis, the upper management discusses it with the subordinates for the optimum results. Subordinates are encouraged to deliver innovative ideas. Therefore task-oriented relation exists between the managers and their subordinates. The skills of the subordinates are enhanced through an on job-training program organized as per need. High performance standards are set for the employees. Every employee is taught what are they suppose to do and then he/she is asked to perform it. If the employee is still not performing well then he is trained again for the job. Every problem faced by the subordinates is discussed with the concerned manager first before raising it in the meeting. The authority is delegated to an extent for motivating the subordinates.

Often when the groups are the target of change, methods are used in which group pressure or group acceptance play an important role. A person may change not only because he/she wants to change, but also because it is perceived that group members want him/her to change. Reinforcement for the change is also likely to come from other group members. Motivation for group change may also occur when group members are failing to complete task, are engaged in conflict, or have other interpersonal tensions. It may also be that the group needs new skills, for example, ineffective teamwork.
