This report was created for a promotional campaign for the sale of a range of products. The promotional campaign was telesales based. The products sold were through basic supply and demand. The customers ring up enquiring about the product they are after thereafter details are given about the product to the customer in order for them to purchase the goods.
Firstly a call list database is created in order to keep up to track with customers and the product being sold. The call list database contains the following headings; Title of the product to stay aware of the product being sold, Caller name so the customer is known, the name of the person the call was assigned to in order to refer back to them if needed. All this information is needed in order to keep everything up to date in an organised manner. The information of the specific product can be referred back to at any time.
The employee details are essential. In this case one employee is at the sales department promoting. Employee details are needed in the database such as name, company, job, phone numbers, and e-mail and also their address. All this is basic employee details needed. Caller details are also vital. This can already either be on the telecoms database or it can be found out whilst promoting.
The data is then extracted on to a spreadsheet document in order to analyse the success of the marketing campaign.
