1. Introduction

Tools n’ Rules is a self-started company run by Dennis Gaines and his wife Brenda. Dennis invents products with the customer in mind, always coming up with ideas to make the lives of consumers easier and better. Although Dennis has had some great ideas and successful products, he has also had some troubles in the past with earning revenue from his ideas. Currently, Tools n’ Rules has many offers on the table for the future of their operations. Through further analysis, the short and long term success of Tools n’ Rules will be evaluated. As well, an evaluation of the opportunities currently available will lead to recommendations on the future operations of the company.

2. Analysis 1

2.1 Strengths

Healthy Brush was the first product idea from Tools n’ Rules, it was a new way to store toothbrushes while not in use, that also doubled as a sanitizer. Although Healthy Brush never made it to store shelves, it was a very innovative and original product. To this day, there has not been an exact replication of this product. According to the Porter's five forces model, it was a very attractive market for Dennis to enter at the time. There was no rivalry as there was no other product that compared to it. There was also low buyer power, because the product didn’t exist elsewhere.
