Infanticide has been around for many decades as the author E. Coleman says, “Infanticide has been around from the Stone Age to the present by the people in every stage of cultural sophistication.” Infanticide is mostly common in India and china, we can say it is mostly common in Asia. Infanticide in Arabia was around since 570- 632 AD. Infanticide in Arabia had been prohibited because of the Quran; a religious book for Islam. Muhammad, said infanticide is wrong in various sections of the Quran.” Infanticide in Judaism started around 11305-1204 AD. In Judaism the Jewish philosopher says, “To teach us that if any man destroys a single life in the world, scriptures impute to him as he has destroyed the whole world.” It says in the article by Dr. Larry S. Miller. Infanticide was not accepted in the Jewish society and religion. Christianity infanticide was around 150-211 AD. In Christianity infanticide was not allowed and was seen as an illegal act. The three monotheistic religions did not allow infanticide. But did people follow; no, like in China which has the highest rate of female infanticide at 30.5 million.
