Aids of child care
Parent’s every day go thru and make the important decision of whether or not to put their children in day care. Hence, as the rise in parents working outside of the house continues, the demand for child care increases. Then there are the work at home parents who need uninterrupted time to accomplish their work responsibilities. Followed by, the parents who do not have family to help take care of the children and have no choice but use day care. When there are day cares that can meet these needs why would these parents refuse? In that, children who do attend day care have the benefit of interaction with other children, academic leads and socialization.
Children in day care develop independence by acknowledging that there is a world outside their homes and parents. The children will start to understand that there is life outside their house hold and what to do in this situation. This will avoid separation anxiety that usually develops in the early months or years of an infant or toddler. The child will learn that there is only one mommy and/or daddy and that they will not be around all the time. Although it is important to bond with the child in order to build a healthy bond too much time can be robbing them of their independence. Since this is the time where the toddler will begin to explore the world around them it is important to establish a sense of freedom. Normally the child will begin to demand for independence when he/she gets closer to the one year mark and this would help in development. In doing so, the toddler will begin to experience self reliance and overcome separation anxiety. This will be a big step for the child in the sense that he/she will begin to make independent choices
