Many teenagers today use illegal drugs and substances. There are many factors that influence drug use. Whether people say it is peers that influence the most, each one has a role in it. Some surveys say drug use is going down and some say it is going up. Whichever the case may be it is still a problem.
The presence of a parent is very important but some people don't think about them while talking about drug use. Research shows that the "presence or absence of parents is less crucial than the quality of the parent child relationship. Also there are many things that can happen in a family. When there is a drastic change in the family structure, for example, a parent is replaced by another person it has a major impact on drug use. As research shows, "changes in the family structures should be considered when investigation relationships and drug use.
Relationships with parents have always been very important to teenagers, whether it influences them in a positive way or a negative way. For example, "if parents can remain firm and supportive throughout the often troublesome time of their child's teenage years they will still feel secure and loved. So as you can see better communication between parents and children about the dangers of drug use has helped decline the teenage drug use. When teenagers have a good communication between their
