I work as the C.E.O of Pop-Cola Company's Delhi office. The Pop-Cola Company is one of the world's largest manufacturer, distributor and marketer of non-alcoholic beverage concentrates and syrups. Beverage products with the Pop-Cola brand name have been sold in the U.S. since 1891. In July of that year, Dr. Brian T. Robbins invented Pop-Cola. The company employs around 75,000 people. About 1.5 billion Pop-Cola products are consumed all over the world every day. For the fiscal ending 2006, the company touched net revenues of $31 billion.

Communication

Whether you possess your own business, direct a corporate division, or just need to team up with others in order to do your work, one thing is definite: you require to communicate, and communicate well, to excel.

We have a climate of openness and trust among the employees at Pop-Cola. The various department heads have regular conversations with the people of their respective departments. I myself have at least one or two constant conversations a month or two with each team member, depending on the size of the group. Having regular conversations goes a long way to set up trust and build healthy and strong associations between me and my employees. The communication between the employees is genuine. Being genuine includes speaking truthfully, being pleasant, saying "no" when you feel like saying "no," or expressing enthusiasm or grief or sympathy when you feel it. But being authentic or genuine does not mean that one can be impolite or deficient in consideration. We have a very good system of feed back prevailing at our workplace. I have personally taken the initiative of going through all the response and reaction of my employees towards various issues prevalent at workplace, and then do everything possible in my power to provide valid solutions (Nair, n.d.)

Culture

"In general terms, culture is the man-made part of the environment which provides a comprehensive framework for understanding the way of life of a person, his beliefs, values, norms, behavior, etc. However if specifically, culture is conceptualized with respect to the nature of the workplace, then it provides understanding of the various facets of work behavior (Work Culture, n.d.).

We try to carry out our business dutifully and fairly always. We value international human rights principles meant to supporting and defending human rights. In our workplace we consider strict obligation to human rights as an essential for conducting our business. All the workers are treated with respect, equality and esteem, and we all follow the principles of integrity, cooperation and accountability. Our workplace is free from discrimination on the basis of race, sex, color, national or social origin, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, political opinion or any other status protected by applicable law (Workplace Rights Policy, n.d.).

Conflict

Conflict maybe defined a process that begins when one party perceives that the another party has negatively, or is about to negatively affected, something that the first party cares about. Our work force is very diverse. Employees belong to different parts of the country, and furthermore with the advent of globalization, different parts of the world.
