This report is a detailed overview on SharePoint, its online version and advantages of each. It mainly covers areas related to creation of web applications, storage of data private/public file sharing and intranet/extranet in organizations.

Chapter 1 consists of a brief introduction followed by structure and content of SharePoint. Chapter 2 is all about the advantages and benefits of using SharePoint, covered with

explanations.

Chapter 3 describes SharePoint online with a brief introduction, followed by additional and missing capabilities of the same, followed by advantages, complete with detailed explanations.

Chapter 4 covers the future and the scope of SharePoint along with the mobile app for the same and an event calendar for release of updates and features.
