Being part of a group is extremely comforting. From groups you gain the social aspect and knowledge that benefits you to fulfill a variety of goals. A group consists of a small collection of people who interact with each other. To examine these goals groups provide people we look at three different types of groups and the functions they serve.
The first type of group is learning groups. A learning group is a collection of people in an educational context who share common values and beliefs. They are actively engaged in learning together and from each other. Within learning groups there are different types of learning groups. For example, Bible study groups, language courses, and even chess clubs are part of these learning groups. Whatever the setting or subject is the main purpose is to increase the knowledge or skill of each member.
The next type of groups is a problem-solving group. Problem-solving groups have a crucial role in the continuous improvement process. First by solving the problems of the past correctly and permanently, and second in creating solutions that are strong and that are adaptable to the certainty of even more change in the future.
