Milk Analysis Lab

Purpose: the purpose of this lab was to test three different types of milk to find the percentage of protein, water and carbohydrates present in each milk.

Materials: 1% milk, whole milk, skim milk, filter paper, oven, dropper, acetic acid, ring stand, funnel, 50ml beaker, 100ml beaker, 150ml beaker, graduated cylinder, and scale.

Conclusion:

In this lab we tested three different milks, 1%, skim and whole milk to find the amount of protein, carbs and water present in each milk. We first took a graduated cylinder and measured 15ml of each milk then inserted 30 drops
