War of Independence
Arabs and Jews have been at war for over 50 years. People call this The 50 years of war. Arabs declare the rightful land theirs after the war. Martial law soon came in to effect. Jews and even Arabs would blow up buildings and cars Etc. Great Britain came in the picture and ruled for over 3 decades. Arabs do not want anything to do with Jews. The Arabs say that if the Jews wanted to take Palestine from them they would throw them in the sea. A holocaust ship, with 5,000 European Jews came to Palestine with the intent to emigrate there. The Arabs didn't want them in their land; it caused for a Palestine vote for a committee. The Jews won, therefore, the Jews got some land to call theirs. Riots started emerging everywhere in Palestine. The Arabs would attack Jews and the Jews would come right back at them. There was a car bomb in the holy city of Jerusalem and killed 7 people. They had smaller cities around Jerusalem and they were commanded to stop supply convoys. These trucks bring all sorts of supplies, items, and even cigarettes. A special task force was made to open up a road for supplies to come through. There command was to stop or even destroy a village. They chose this particular village and as the Special Forces attack raided on, the leader of this blockade was killed. This battle left many injured and many dead. 105 Arabs died in Dear Yassen. The survivors were sent to Jerusalem. Arabs made false claims of rape so that they can get some Arabs army's to come. It had a negative effect and over 1/3 of military fled.
