Essay title: Why I Need the Internship
Being a university student, it is the suitable time to venture out to the workforce, even for a periodic period, rather than just to absorb the theoretical teachings of the text books. This is the main reason for applying under this internship program.
The main expectation form engaging in the placements is to gain the necessary working skills for future employment along with the exposure. As important education is as a stepping stone, the additional skills acquired from this placement will be able to act as an advantage and an eye – opener, before stepping into the workforce. This experience will hopeful be able to instil awareness of working life and allowing myself to endure the diversified task passed on to me. It opens up the opportunity to execute what has been learnt on paper to reality.
Besides that, in my opinion the placement allows us to deal with a range of people, who are knowledgeable in their respective fields. Many are aware that networking is a crucial part in everyday life, not just the working area, however being in class alone will not boost ties of people. Therefore going out on a placement comes with the chance to sharpen these interaction skills. Learning the way assignments are carried out from the people who handle the assignments will enable me to pick up ideas on how people operate under the pressure of work life.
