SYNTHESIS:

Army-rule in Thailand was brought back which will delay the progress of having democracy in the Southeast Asian countries. There is no good effect to the ASEAN members if a sudden change in the government of one country will be done since one of their goals is to have more democracy. Many leaders hope that the country will return to its normal state as soon as possible. According to their military chief General Sonthi Boonyaratglin, democracy will be restored within a year. The central bank chief Pridiyathorn Devakula was rumored to take the position of prime minister.

ANALYSIS:

Martial law is again present in our region and this time in Thailand. We have experienced this kind of rule. Thus, we can be able to relate to the citizens of the country.
