Building an Ethical Organization
Name: The Sauk Village Community Health Care Center
Services Provided: Job training, food, clothing, shelter, education, medical treatment
and all types of counseling. Mental health care also provided. We have a pediatric
doctor, dentist, gynecologist, family practitioner and lab for x-rays and blood work.
Clientele: Anyone from the Sauk Village area: Elderly, disabled, teen mothers,
homeless or anyone seeking help that doesn’t have healthcare. People with low income
are also welcome.
This is a non-profit organization. Most funds are from government grants.
Mission Statement
To protect the health and well being of all clients in the Sauk Village community
especially those most in need. To give service throughout the Sauk Village Community to
help with short to long term care for people with chronic and complex health problems
and those with social and economic problems. We are opening this community health
center to provide care and help to those that can’t get help elsewhere. We are also here to
help the community to thrive and grow.
We do this by:
• Implementing government policy
• Continuing Program development
• Increasing service capacity
• Having a sufficient staffing
• Supporting people to live independently
• Improving the outcomes through prevention, screening and early intervention
• Helping to reduce homelessness
The mission statement supports the ethical system by stating that we are here to
protect the well being of our clients, therefore that is letting them know that no harm will
come to them physically or mentally by way of discrimination or bias through our
organization. It states that we will provide the best care we possibly can for all people in
need. Our aim is to provide the care needed to help people recover their health with the
right health care, in a timely manner from the best staff possible.
The message that the mission statement is sending to the community is that we are
there to help and that we care what is going on with them. By stating we are there to
protect there well being means in all the ways they need help as far as education, job
training and health, mental health, help in general for the clients to become self sufficient
members of the community.

To focus on the clients by working toward improving their health and well-being. To
always treat people with dignity and respect. We will do our best and always try to
