Changing the Employee's Job Descriptions
Changing the employee's job descriptions of the factories shop floor employees could have a great effect on productivity and attitude in the workplace. Employees should be trained and hired on equipment accruing to two categories light to medium, medium to heavy task and specialized tasks. This will allow for people to acquire the skills necessary to complete the job in a shorter amount of time. For instance people who are higher on for specialized tasks will be in charge of cooking and the make up process, because theses process require skill and expertise in the area. This is because the operator needs to be able to "feel" the correct finish for the individual 40 lines of candy. The specialized works primary job will be cooking and makeup although they will be trained on various other light duties in the factory. Light to medium tasks involves little to no straight on the employee.
