Dell Company is an American multinational information technology corporation .The Headquarter of Dell is in Round Rock, Texas, United States. Dell was founded was 1984 by Michael Dell .Michael Dell chairman and CEO of this popular multinational company. Dell Company sells desktop personal computers, notebook computers, network servers, and a variety of computer peripherals and software. The company also is the largest direct-sale computer vendor in the world. Dell is listed at number 41 in the Fortune 500 list.
The first "Dell" branded computer was sold in 1985 as the Turbo PC sold for US $795. The company advertised its system in National Computer Magazines for its selling of PCs'directly to consumers, assembled according to their needs. For the first year of its business the company grossed $75 million.
Since 1996, Dell began selling computers via its web site, and in 2002,Dell expanded its product line to include televisions ,handhelds, digital audio players, and printers Dell's first acquisition occurred in 1999 with the purchase of ConvergeNet Technologies. In 2003, the company was rebranded as simply "Dell Inc." to recognize the company's expansion beyond computers

During the time, Dell acquired Alienware, which introduced several new items to Dell product, its including AMD microprocessors and to prevent cross market products. Therefore, Dell continues to run Alienware as a separate entity but still a wholly owned subsidiary.
