There are twenty five staffs, including ten engineers, seven technicians and eight lab assistants work under him. The person who took on this position before Jeremiah was John Angle. However, he was replaced due to failures in managing his staffs. This led to a lot of problems for the work environment.
First of all, the staffs did not have positive relationship with each other. There was lack of confidence and communication between the technicians and the engineers. Also, they thought negatively about each other. On the other hand, their relationships with lab assistants also were not better.
Secondly, other departments, especially financial department, were extremely upset and dissatisfied with John's department. This was because of poor performance of his staffs. The reports of accounting information were not submitted promptly. The budget was over-spent and there were illegal transactions in salary. Also, there was an unclear amount of expense. Besides the financial department, the others were also unhappy with John because it is hard to have cooperation of his staffs and the jobs were not performed well.
However, John Angel thought he was right with the way he managed his team. Moreover, he satisfied with his style of leadership. He provided his staffs all authority and responsibility without any specific goal or mission. He let his staffs learn from their mistakes also. Therefore, the staffs used these as advantages and performed poorly such as being late for work, ineffective work schedule and so on.
Lastly, Jeremiah was hired in order to seek solutions solving all of these problems created by John Angle within four months.

INTRODUCTION
The case shows that the human behavior is really important as how people perform affects the organization's performance. Therefore, the human behavior is studied and analyzed carefully so that the organization can make decision which strategy to use to help improve the performance. This study is called organization behavior (Moorhead and W. Griffin 2007, p. 03). However, an organization is a combination of many components such as leaderships, individuals, groups, team works and so on. The case of the company InterContinental Communication illustrates how leadership affects the organizational behavior.
From the past, people define the meaning of leadership differently as their perspectives about desiring gaining goals and objectives are not the same. Nowadays, business develops, so the leadership organization expects seems to be merged and becomes organizational leadership. Therefore, the term leadership will refer to dynamic, interactive, working relationship between a leader and followers and manage the strategic in workplace to achieve the objectives. (L. Pierce and W. Newstrom 2006, p. 11)
According to Hamilton (2007, p. 279), team members are responsible for 80 percent of an organization. However, this success only occurs when the members completely understand and support the team's objectives and perform well in many aspects that go against with what happened in the case of Jeremiah. Therefore, the organization needs not only a leadership but also an effective leadership
