The Mute Girl Talks
The mute girl talks
It is art's imperfection
This impenetrable speech
Reflection: this relates to my life cause I used to be the mute one and never talked to anyone. This also relates to my life because I have met a mute girl and I changed her to not be so shy. This is trying to teach that even though you are shy don’t mean that you have to be mute and not talk. I feel this way because it seems like the author heard this girl and was amazed by her voice. This poem makes me feel strong and confidant to talk more to people that I normally wouldn’t talk to like teachers. This reminds me of the shyness that is going on and causing people to not be able to talk about their feeling or holding it in and then exploding or even taking their own life.
Interpolation: this shy girl talks and has a great voice or is talented and her speech is amazing and outstanding. This seems to be a poem of the shy people and is a meaning of joining the world. This poem was a haiku and is a short poem that isn’t meant to rhyme at all its just a short plain poem.
The beginning of autumn
Sea and emerald paddy
Both the same green.
Reflection: this relates to my life because I experience autumn every year and it if a scene like this describes. This relates to my life cause I can describe the autumn I see to this and it is almost matches but not exactly. This is trying to teach what autumn looks like every year. I feel like this because it seems like it is trying to describe autumn by the words. This poem makes me feel like I am in the autumn season. This reminds me of the seasons changing which Is going on everywhere in the world.
Interpretations: it’s the beginning of autumn and it is beautifully green and sea green outside everywhere. This poem seems to be about the seasons and nature and is a good way to describe it. This is an imagery poem and is a good thing to see the world through words.
Water reflects sky
summer of my soul open
under the spell still
Reflection: this relates to my life cause I want something but when its there its not how I wanted it. This relates to my life because I’ve wanted summer bad enough I see it but it not be real. This is trying to teach that no matter ho bad u want something you wont get it right then and there. I feel like this cause that is what the poem says to me. This poem makes me feel like I’m in summer and I’m just out of the cold. This reminds me of the way the community’s think that because they want it they are going to get it.
Interpretations: he is at a lake and the summer in him is out on the water but her is under a spell that makes him do this. This poem seems to be about summer and how this person wants it to happen so bad but is stuck in a spell.
The low yellow
moon above the
Quiet lamp lit house
Reflection: this relates to my life because I had a dream about this a few days ago and it was kind of weird. This also relates to my life because it is sounds like a nice night and a cool scene and it sounds like something I’ve seen. This is trying to teach how a scene can be expressed through a couple of words. I feel like this because it is a scenery poem. This makes me feel like I’m flying through the night in a plane looking down at houses. This reminds me of a lonely night where criminals hide.
Interpretation: this poem is out at night and the moon is high and he sees a quiet house lit up by only lamplight. This poem seems to be a scenery poem and a beautiful poem about peace at night.
It feels like eating
the same small, perfect grape
again and again.
Reflection: this relates to my life because it is a was you feel when you eat something and want the same exactly way it was made like steak. This makes me feel as if I could eat my favorite thing made my favorite way forever and ever.
