Write a Story

It was a cool summer day. I took a long peaceful walk through town and enjoyed life. There were not many people in the area so early in the morning.

I found a bench where I could relax and enjoy the view.

The prospect. Yes, when I was young, that is far in the past now, had the view in this city a whole different meaning. When I was young, we had no high buildings, cars, to that extent, cobblestone streets.

At that moment, when I sat there, and looked around, a lot of emotions started to play as well as the memories began to play around. I went back in time.

For a moment I saw myself, when I was young, with prolific and rich brown hair, a high straight back and strong arms, like a real hard working farm boy.

Sitting on the grass and looking upon the sun, the love of my life came walking by with some of her friends. I could feel the sweet scent of her, when she walked past me.
I was 18 and she was 17. We had known each other since we were 5 years. I never saw anything in her besides a very good friend, but as I grew older and thought more about girls, I started to see that she was not a little girl anymore. In fact she was the most beautiful and sweetest girl in the whole city, she became the love of my life.

She had always liked flowers, especially daisies, she wore them in her hair. I stood up and looked after her as they walked by. I never thought I would have a chance with her. That she never would see me as anything but a friend. But in summer, that same year, we started talking more.
We took to the beach and I took her to the town festival. We walked together often, where we told each other about our dreams and about our ideas about how the future would be. But one evening, when we were out walking, she took my hand and held it, she didn’t let go of it, I thought that maybe it was a mistake, but it was not. I looked at her and my heart started to race as she just smiled at me and leaned against me. We were watching the sun going down, a beautiful red and orange sky around the golden sun and we just sat there and holding hands. It was like a dream came true for me.
