Design Thinking and Innovation at Apple
Why has Apple been so successful? What do you attribute it to?
In my opinión Apple have a keys points that the market opportunity allow to develop and creta amazing products for them, Steve Job who is a creative and innovate person had the visión to find the best opportunity for the bussines, for example: For any product that Apple creates, the people who create it have to want it themselves , The products have to be easy to use, Keep things simple, Offer great customer service and in-store experiences, Apple only makes a product if Apple can do it better, Apple stays at least two years ahead of its competitors
Is there as systematic “approach” to innovation at Apple? If yes, how would you characterize it? Can it be imitated? If no, why not?
I think if there is a systematic approach to creativity and innovation in this wonderful organization , characterized by creativity and innovation of its employees are in most systems engineers that develop the right skills to focus on the product end. Apple is known for being ahead according to research about two years that any company always steps forward to other companies are thinking which makes it very difficult to imitate for example if we look at the example of computer disks .
What business is Apple in?
Apple is a prominent hardware and software company best known for its series of personal computers, the iPod and its innovative marketing strategies for its products, it has the best technology does in each product that it develop.
Imagine that Apple’s management is running your organization—or the last organization that you have worked for, your family business, etc. What would that be like? What would change? What obstacles would be encountered? What would it be like to work there?
I imagine an innovative company with easier decision making creative sense in everything that is done and very simply would solve any problem that arises is why one d elos challenges that would face serious instill within the organization that culture of innovation and likewise the right way to do things. In the organization they would change many things from work as part of the service to the customer in a manner as would experience some obstacles that could be found would deal with employees who do not have an effective job offers or those not like working in the organization .
If you competed against them, where would they be vulnerable?
I infer they take a lot of care in their skills, but as often neglect themselves contradictory Small offer prices Very expensive as accessories son , is why Apple has a small flaw in relation to accessories and What It provides Do not have a good quality of how their physical products , you could say that apple lacks improve in that part be completely for A Competitive Company .
Do you think that the absence of Steve Jobs will affect Apple in the medium-long term?
when Steve was fired from the company many met the news that Apple had been down as an organization this because they were not following the mission for which it was created and how the founder thought direct it, which is why when Steve left apple company started to have many defects that could give account , that's why I think if it was vital the presence of steve that there was no one like to know the essence of the organization as well as innovation and necessity He created in which every product launched to the market, and although steve return and improved the company as he had now thought of his death became aple be alone but I hope the directors and people who run today realize steve what he did to get away as he thought and even more taking such a competitor is samsung .
