Value Personal Source Justify the Value’s Position in the List. Include any challenges to employing these values consistently when making personal and organizational decisions.
Integrity My personal source of integrity would be from my youth leaders in Arizona. I place integrity at the top of my list because this is a combination of my other values. Integrity is the adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty. One of the biggest challenges of maintaining integrity in making personal or organizational decisions, is the small subtle items on a daily basis. If some one has over paid me by 10 cents, am I willing to say that matters? A business associate might wonder if he or she made an honest mistake, would I be willing to correct the mistake or just let it slide.
Trust A personal source of trust was from how my father trusted me in my high school years. The more that I demonstrated reliability, the more he trusted me. Forgiveness is an interesting business concept that I believe comes next. All decisions are not perfect and mistakes will be made. The ability to forgive dispels arrogance and can strengthen a business relationship. Often knowledge can be gained by both parties from a mistake made.
Wisdom I have learned wisdom from my wife. She has shown me that knowledge used wisely can lead to greater heights. Wisdom is the application of the knowledge that is gained from
